Syed Shams- Top 3 students in Beaumont for PSAT/NMSQT & National Merit Scholarship Qualifier

Harmony Science Academy- Beaumont would like to recognize an outstanding student that makes great strides in academics and as well as leadership qualities. Syed Shams has qualified as a finalist for this program, which opens doors for him regarding scholarships money awarded for his college education. By taking the PSAT/NMSQT or the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. He scored a 1480 on both sections of his test. Only three students qualified as a finalist in the state of Beaumont.

The NSMQT is a standardized test given by College Board and 3.5 million students take the each year. The score grade totaling two sections are 160-760 with a maximum score of 1520.

In addition, another major accomplishment that this student has is he scored the highest score on his ACT Test (36). This test primarily measures what the student learns in high school and provides personalized information about their strengths for education and career planning.

We are so proud of Syed and all the great things he is doing. We wish him well and all his future endeavors.
